A former higher education administrator and academic, I began painting as a way to relax and center myself in 2021. I have always enjoyed drawing and creating and I encourage others to make time to pursue the passions they have hiding within. You’ll find that my works vary in size. As an artist, I take my brushes and paints when I travel. As such, some of my works are inspired by plants, views and nature where I’m visiting or from what I’m seeing. This means some of my works are captured in my smaller notebooks and some I photograph and bring home so I can paint them on a larger paper in my studio. I primarily sell original matted artwork and notecards.
